The Sol-Ark 12K falls on its face with 120v inductive loads. It’s an
imbalance issue, but really caused by the lack of a transformer. Sol-Ark
has stated that the 12K unit tops out at 2.5 HP. I have had luck installing
autotransformers as well. The Outback PSX240 was my go to, but it looks
like price of that has doubled in the past few years. Victron makes a 100A
transformer for a fraction of the cost.

It seems like this issue has been resolved in the Sol-Ark 15K design, and I
have yet to run into the same trouble.
