Zeke: I can see the MAC address of the Mate3 in Optics but I could never change it. Maybe you have privileges I don’t have. I have always had to contact Outback to change out a Mate3s. What is your secret?
I tried to connect via chat several times without a reply. Today I finally selected option 2 on the voice line for sales and David answered. He agreed to ping tech support so they would respond to the chat request. It is so ludicrous to use chat for off-grid support. I am so frustrated I can hardly put it into words. On site I was experiencing inverter problems that kept cutting power. Every time power went out Internet went down and the chat got cut off. With the customer looking over my shoulder I reconnected time and again only to keep getting cut off. Outback has hit a new low with tech support forbidding voice calls. I spent a lot of time ramping into Outback as my primary manufacturer. I will never spec an Outback system ever again.
