Using the insighthome, you can check the hardware version of the SCP. I think it was version 1.0 and then a later version of 1.1. If it’s a later version, there was a software firmware upgrade that you can install. I think that helps the SCP perform better in larger systems, especially.

Same for insight. I’ve been running version 1.18, onreally old XWs (voltage based, of course, with lithium’s connected via can to insight to track SOC) with no problem. I think insight still ships with version 1.16.

Thank you,

Maverick

It's much easier to use Insight, but I didn't have the password initially, and resetting the InsightHome device always seems to give me issues with creating a new password. I eventually got into it.

I can't even get the SCP to change the generator AGS mode from manual on to automatic. That is problematic because the homeowner can't change the setting with the SCP.

I have had this experience as well with a couple of Schneider systems. The SCP doesn't seem to be the master when an Insight or gateway is on the Xanbus.

Generator settings and charge controller settings have not stuck.

I updated the settings for all devices via InsightLocal and the settings are sticking now. I think there was some sort of conflict. When I changed settings via the SCP, they would not be reflected in InsightLocal, but when I changed settings in InsightLocal the settings would instantly change on the SCP.

I think the source of the high DC voltage issue was something else, however. I discovered that all of the charge controllers were set to Flooded rather than Custom battery type (for LFP), and some of the charge controllers had equalization enabled.

It was cloudy yesterday, so I have to wait until solar gets the batteries to 100%, hopefully today, to see if the high DC voltage issue comes back.

A guess is too many devices on the xanbus. Are you using Facility?  The -60 reverting is a new one for me. Maybe isolate each one seperately in case one is malo.

buenas suerte!

I have a new client with an existing Schneider dual XW Pro system with four MPPT 100 and two MPPT 60 charge controllers. They have a SCP, AGS, and Insight.

The system is reporting DC over voltage faults on the two inverters (viewable via SCP. The battery voltage is not high. It's a bank of EG4 LL batteries that would hit their high battery cutoff well before the XW detects a high battery condition.

I went through all of the setting and discovered that the two MPPT 60 were set to a nominal voltage of 36V. I fixed that by changing them to 48V and cleared the faults and all was well. I did this though the SCP.

By the time I came home, however, the faults returned and the MPPT 60 both reverted to 36V nominal.

I'm not sure why the DC over voltage faults are showing up on the XWs, but it seems related to the nominal voltage issue on the MPPT 60s.

Any ideas?

Schneider tech support has me wasting time today going for a boat ride to the site to put a meter on the battery terminals, when I know it's obviously not an actual battery voltage issue. I'm hoping to steer them in a different direction.
