Jay, I was told by the owner and the maintenance person that there was an event where some snow that had built up on the lines, had let go during a melt and sprung up to contact other lines above. We've seen every possible type of snow here in the mid-elevation Sierras, it must have been some weird conditions that even allowed the snow to adhere to the lines in the first place......and then continue to build on that? I don't know more detail than that but PG&E is accepting responsibility for the event. Bill
