I'm hoping that if the unified syntax takes hold then people will tend
to just define their own macros differently.

There's the obvious workarounds, of course, like defining my-and-let*
that massages things before passing them to and-let*. Or you could
just change how it worked in your code if you have a sane namespace
system.

Or we could provide a hook to inform Unified Syntax that and-let* uses
grouping ("Insert a coupla parens around there, ya hear?")
