In particular, Nala Ginrut was hacking your old version to work with 2.0 latest: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/guile-devel/2012-03/msg00052.html We've since updated things to mostly work on random stable Guile's from 1.6 to 2.0, and added source properties to the reader to boot (an issue they had with the old code). The only issue discussed on that thread (IIRC) that we don't handle is that our read-error does not properly report source location, and for that matter does not properly throw an exception.
