Datumsproblem

Folgender Code funktionier unter Mac OS tadellos:

 Dim theDate as New Date
 Dim theTrueBool as Boolean
 theTrueBool=ParseDate("01.01.1600",theDate)
 If theTrueBool then
   MsgBox thedate.AbbreviatedDate
 else
   MsgBox "Invalid Date format!"
 End if

Wenn ich dasselbe unter Windows teste bekomme ich die MsgBox: "Invalid
Date format!". Anscheinend betrifft das alle Datumsangaben vor ca. 1601.

Kann das jemand bestätigen?
Ist das ein Fehler von RS2010r1?
Ist der inzwischen behoben?
