Well... I'm one version back. I'm using driver version 2.01. They
have just released a newer one on February 1st - version 2.10. I've
put in a request for a custom version of the driver that has my VID
and PID numbers in it. Until I get that, I really can't make use of
their new driver. Unless I can find a way to hack them in
there ;-) ...or pull my eprom out... hey, not a bad idea!
Sounds like you may have solved your problem, but AFAIK, the OSX (and
classic) versions of the FTDI drivers contain all the custom assigned
VID/PID numbers. So once yours has been added, you can just download
the current version off their website. That's been my experience with
my IDs, anyway. Not true for the Windows drivers of course.
