The suggested approach doesn't seem to address the problem. Window2 just doesn't seem to be active somehow. For troubleshooting, I've simplified Window2 down to this:
Pushbutton1 Action code Pushbutton1.caption="!" So, there's not even any reference to Window1. As before, the Action code for a pushbutton in Window1 (a fullscreen window) is: Window2.Show I click, Window2 shows, but clicking on the Window2 pushbutton yields only the error chime. The Close button on Window2 does work, though. You can add a property to Window2: MyWindow1 as Window1. Then from Window1 do: Window2.Show Window2.MyWindow1 = self //assigns a ref to Window1 into MyWindow1 Now, if you want to execute a method owned by Window1 you can do: MyWindow1.SomeMethod(Whatever parameters SomeMethod needs) Best, Jack _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html> _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
