If I put my ElfData plugin library next to my RB executable, or maybe
even in the standard place where libc is... will that mean that my
linux executable doesn't need to copy the plugin?
Or will it try to copy the plugin anyhow.
RB tools are a great idea... but really RB isn't doing it "the proper
way".
It's a bit annoying for MacOSX that RB creates a small (40Kb or so)
binary for a shell tool, and has a 1.1MB library to carry around with
it. A better linker would be a good start, or even just make the
library loading a bit more efficient perhaps.
