I have an app that queries SpamAssassin using the Shell class. My
application uses this command in the shell to get SpamAssassin's
version number: "spamassassin -V". This works on my laptop just
fine and the version number is returned. However, on my desktop
machine, I get an error message: "sh: line 1: spamassassin: command
not found". Now here's the strange part - if I open Terminal and
type "spamassassin -V", I get the expected results. Any thoughts
on why the command works in the Terminal, but not in the Shell
class? Like I said, it works as expected on my laptop as well as
another machine that I have tested it on. All running OS 10.4.6
(client version).

The shell is not started with the exact same environment as the
terminal instance is
if you try "which spamassassin" in terminal and shell you probably
get a "not found" error in the shell
