No, 'cause it's always been on the left side; that's how I like it.
Plus - in the older Mail.app - the drawers would automagically move
from one side to the other if, and when, you move the window to one
or another side of the screen. That way, they'd fit without spilling
over into off-screen real-estate.

I hated the drawer and love the newer format. The Mailboxes are on
the correct side to me. Maybe you also would prefer the Browser in
Rb's code editor to be in a drawer on the right side. ;)

PS. I don't think you can change it either. You can reinstall the
earlier version however.
