Benjamin, thanks for the suggestion. While Owen did a great job on HTMLField 2, the HTMLViewer Class makes it obsolete. My project needs to create the HTML from styled text. I would like to allow the user to edit in either mode. HTMLField 2 is read only and does not generate HTML. Several WYSIWYG HTML editors do this. I'm not interested in positioning the block of HTML as in a <DIV> just the actual html. I plan to wrap the proper HTML headers and footers around the <body></body>, which is generated by the user in my imaginary edit field.

I guess I'm going to have to dig in and build my own parser. If anyone has comments or offerings, please pipe in.

I had anticipated doing something like your suggestion of putting each edit field in a pane, I may just make one or the other visible. Implementation comes after I have something to implement... I have a feeling I'm off on a very long tangent writing a parser before I can start thinking about how to use it.

Thanks,
Craig

HTMLField 2 may be worth a look:

You might want to run this on one PagePanel and have a standard edit
field on another panel, switching between the two with your
radiobuttons.

Hope this helps,
Ben.
