I've run into a strange problem. My current project creates a
packaged folder which contains several documents. I have to modify
the compiled applications plist to get this to work properly. Since I
keep editing the source and recompiling I've created a text document
with the proper plist prebuilt so I can simply copy and paste into
the recompiled app. My problem is from time to time the OS doesn't
register the app properly and the packages revert to folders. This
problem has come and gone several times and I can't figure out what I
need to do other than set the proper plist. I know the plist is
correct because for no rhyme or reason it will work properly and then
the next rebuild it will not. So far I haven't worried about it
because I was still fixing bugs. Now I can't seem to get my App to
register properly so the packages function as they should. Is there
something I need to do that can force the registration.
I'm using RB 2005 r2 OSX 10.4.7
