I tried the HTML view but OpenAsMovie returns nil. It won't open
the little bugger. Do you have a trick for bludgeoning it into submission?

Then they are probably compiled to a newer version of the Flash player. Quicktime only supports Flash 5. If the swf files are for 6 or up, then it won't play. Your best bet is to use the HTMLViewer which will use what the user already has installed on the system.
