Hello,
I built a small MP3 stream player using an old version of RealBasic (5.2).
However, when I try to play a known good stream, using a simple project,
with only one window, one moviePlayer control, and some very basic code
me.movie = openuRLMovie("http://www.frequencecaribou.com/fc_haut.pls";)
me.play
In the open event of the moviePlayer, the audio stutters and skips.
I tried downloading a demo version of RB2006 r4 and got the same results.
When I open the same stream in Apple's Quicktime player, it plays just fine.
Is there something more I should do? Maybe turn the player invisible so it
wastes no time on rendering video that isn't there or something?
