Maybe it saved with file dependencies rather than as self-contained,
similar to the save options in Quicktime player? Does the resulting
file have the correct content?

Hi all,
REALbasic 2006 Release 4
Mac OS X 10.4.8
video/flv flash video
Question 1: the REALbasic generated movie.
I have a flash video whose size is 6.7MB on disk.
I open it and save it to disk using:
// Get the Movie Time length (in seconds)
MPflv.Position = 12345678910111213141516 // What a value!
Duration = MPflv.Position // Get the correct length
// Create a brand new Movie
NewMovie = SaveAsFI.CreateMovie
// Pass the video and sound tracks to the NewMovie EditableMovie
NewMovie.AppendMovieSegment MPflv.Movie, 0, Duration, True
and the saved file length is... 100KB.
Question 2: file extension:
What can be the file extension ?
AppleScript says:
file type: "MooV"
creator type: "TVOD"
Any idea(s) on the answers ?
TIA,
Emile
PS: I added a flv extension in my QuickTime folder to read these
files. (Perian.component)
