Jacob,

SQLite Manager is not the kind of thing you will be dependant like "fatstring".

It is an external tool to help managing your DB. For instance you can manage your DB in a user friendly manner (create Table, indexes, views, query and therefore test your SQL against your DB...).

Just my 2 cents, but I like that tool ;-)

I would highly recomend you to use Marco Bambini's RBSQL Manager namely
SQLite Manager (www.sqlabs.net). You can use for free in a limited but
very usefull extent, but you will find very quickly that it's well worth
the 39 Euro (roughly).

Does this mean that I will be dependent on third party
software? I have very bad experience of making myself
dependent on third party software. When I started to use
REALBasic in 2001, I used a package named "faststring". But
since this package was not upgraded to later versions of
REALBasic, I cannot modify my own old software any more!
Nor can I recompile them for Mac OS X.
