Hello,
In the Mac OS 9 times, one used to be able to append DITL
resources to navigation dialogs to allow more controls to be
displayed (like, for example, the "Export dialog" in QuickTime,
where an "Options..." button can be seen, for some formats).
I haven't been able to figure out how to achieve this from
RealBasic. It is "obviously" not built in RB itself (it's not
crossplatform) and the MBS plugin does not provide a way for this
(there is a Navigation Dialog part, but only a standard "Format"
popup menu can be used).
Since MacOS X does not like resource forks anymore, I wonder:
what is the current (Mac OS X) way to append controls to a
navigation dialog?
Are DITL's resources still supported?
Is it actually possible with Realbasic? (using RB 5.5, if that
matters).
Yes, if you use declares.
Thank you. So it's possible. Is it really complicated, complex and
hard or not (I'm not a great expert in declares, thought I'm not a
newbie)?
It requires some work to implement.
I guess the answer is on your website, right?
No. I've got all of Navigation Services implemented in REALbasic,
but I haven't found the time to clean it up and make it available.
The last time I searched for something there, I was
lost._______________________________________________
Of course you're welcome to ask if you can't find something.
