They used to have the problem of if you had a username with icelandic characters, I did make a ticket while back (5.5 days I think I remember) and they fixed it.

But if I take away the string f.visible=false, this routine works, no matter what the username is (as far as I have tested).

So this ticket is in a way false, and I will update it to reflect the right situation.

The solution is because the username of the the user on windows
contains icelandic characters. If I write the file deliberately in a
location which is non icelandic, it works.

This is a very serious bug, and I thought RS had already fixed this.

Here is a ticket on this, please sign on.

I found out the bug, perhaps not a bug, but I would like to call it
like that.

f.visible = false

Makes the file write protected under windows. By removing that line,
everything works.
I consider this a bug.

Trausti,
Do you still confirm the bug (woigcyzw) when using non-ascii chars on the path,
or it works if you don't have the line "f.visible = false"?

Thanks,
Carlos
