Subject: [Q] What is GDI+ ?

Hi all,

in the 2997r1 release notes, extensive use of GDI+ habve been done.

Can you explain what is GDI+

Is this inside Windows XP SPII 'by default"
If the above answer is "No", please share the URL
If the above answer is "No", please share the price status (free, $/£/€/¥/whatever)

GDI is the graphics library that exists in Windows from its first release; GDI+ is an update to that library that permits to read and write many image formats.

Here it's the link to download it: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=6a63ab9c-df12-4d41-933c-be590feaa05a&displaylang=en.
