I have experience with Visual Basic (pre dot net), Delphi and other
tools on Windows. When I converted to a Mac, I was of course very
interested in programming for the Mac. I did try Apple dev tools,
but thought there was way to much magic going on, to many
"obvious" (or not) methods you need to implement and such, if
everything they say about Obj C 2.0 is true, I might try that.
But I found RB, and haven't looked back, released 2 shareware apps
(www.studlar.net) which pays for most of my computer bills (RB,
Valentina and more), so I could not be happier with it.
What I like about RB is the fact that there are 3rd party tools like
Einhugur has, great community (most of the times). I really like how
RB works, I totally learnt OOP, upto a whole new level.
I really like it, my only gripe is that I wish that the HTML Viewer
was without problems and could print, or if someone would implement
Opera browser or something else, and I don't think anyone would
complain if it was possible to have some kind of animation going on
with objects in a window like Vista has and Mac 10.5 will have.
