Hi Marco,

with all respect. :-)

Of course I can believe it will beat power of mySQL, Postgre, Oracle :-)
Do such things as e.g. sin(f1) * cos(f2), produce/parse XML, and tons of
other features....

Do you know why sqllite was extended to support numeric types, while on
start they was so proud to have all as text? Do you want to hear prediction
of next steps they will MUST to do to become better? They have start from
simple things, and they repeat mistakes and steps of other dbs of 10-20
years age.

-------
Have you ever see other small SQL engines of the world?

For example vistaDB from .NET world? (I have see one more other similar
engine of this level. Not remember now its name).

I can say that both these engines beat sqllite a lots by features, having
size near to be the same in 300-600Kb (thing which make them proud :-)

So believe me, exists other impressive lite sql engines.

Only win feature of sqllite is that it is open source and free by author.
That both engines are commercial.

But what is true -- design of SQL Lite is really cool idea.
Here respect to author.

On the other hand easy to see how this design will prevent its fast grow.
Although Author self have claim in their wiki, then no need do future
development.
