Hi all, I seem to have a serious Problem with RedHat and RB2006-RB2007. When using the SMTP Socket it takes ages to send mail. On other Linuxes it works fine. Whenever I start smtpsocket.sendMail the communication between the mail server and my console app takes more than a minute for 2 mails. See below
Each SendProgress Event takes about 10 seconds. ONLY on a RedHat machine. I had it running under 5.5.5 and it worked perfect on RedHat. Since RB2006 I cant get it cooking. ANY Ideas? Perhaps the Redhat libraries need to be updated. If so which ones is RB using, especially for TCP Sockets? Thank you so much guys for your time.
