You're not the only one. The good news is that you can still use the older Remote Debugging Stub with its better speed. (At least I have been doing that successfully -- going from Mac Intel to Windows XP running in Parallels.)

The windows/linux machine has a 100Mbit ethernet while the mac side is a macbook. I tried remote debugging ethernet->ethernet and airport->ethernet with same result.
