just don't happen to me? RS says it's not reproducible, but it
bites me all the time, since I always forget to close the menu
editor tab.
Description: When a menu editor is open in a tab but not visible,
it still takes 10-25% out of the processor, as it is constantly
redrawing the menu editor or something.

I have the same but in a empty project about 7-10%
And when select the window or app TAB it is still 7-10%
I have 3-4% going to 28% when I open the menu editor, going back when
closing it. And the description isn't that good, it doesn't matter if
it's visible or not, but that's part of the problem, should it really
consume so much (even 7-10% seems high) when hidden. I don't care if
it's doing it when visible but I think that's 7-10% is to much when
hidden.
