I'm seeing a problem in which a Linux console app will exit abruptly
with code 141, which appears to be the result of handling a SIGPIPE.
We can reproduce this, but before I start walking back the cat,
perhaps someone else has encountered something like this already. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
