I have an implementation for the OpenAL sound generation framework. I don't know if it works on 5.5.5. I'm not sure if it will give you what you are looking for, it might. This is from the docs from OpenAL. <quote> Creating a number of sources and buffers and a single listener and then updating the positions and orientations of the sources and listener dynamically can present a convincing 3D audio world. </quote> http://www.maui.net/~mauitom/openal.html I'm happy to try and work with you to extend the classes if his might be what you're looking for, just let me know. What I have done requires a .wav file.
Well I was wanting to play some sort of audio, and direct it to come out of a certain speaker or speakers, i.e. right rear, left rear front, center etc... This wasn't for anything I was working on, just for fun, to test the speakers/surround sound.
However this seems a bit beyond my skills, but no big deal. _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
