Ok, first you tease me with some magical function that does a super fast read 
and then you pull the carpet and tell me it's not sharable...

I had to run out and remove you from my will!

But then you came up with the solution to my problem, so I guess I'll put you 
back in :-)

I think you meant:

f = GetFolderItem(path,FolderItem.PathTypeURL)

This does what I had crudely and incorrectly tried to implement earlier.
