One of the things I work on with clients is change management, and how to
take your users with you during change.  The first thing you learn is that
your champions - the people who shout the loudest, and often have the most
experience and influence - are the people you really want to consult,
involve, and take with you.  I think half of the problem with today's
decision is the complete lack of forewarning or consultation of those people
who provide valuable support REALbasic and its users.  The loss of the NUG
is a big one - but the lack of any consultation is the real reason for
today's huge uproar.  It's a shame it couldn't have been handled with at
least some consultation and feedback.
