The only thing I can think of is the dock icon's mask footprint is
different. When I draw to the dock icon, I find that the original
mask (the application icon's mask) is still in effect, even though I
have changed the graphic on top. Maybe your app's mask is not
defined, or represents a very small area?
Just a thought.
