I completely agree with you. In general, I try to remove them (I don't care specifically about digest mode; it's also annoying in normal reading). But humain is certainly lazy by nature :-( Sometimes, I forget to remove them (sorry for anyone annoyed by that).
In my opinion, the admin of this list should remove them rather than us, writers of the posts. Is that really needed to have/skip all the admin stuffs in every message? Should it not be better to read them on the website?
