I made the mistake earlier of asking a question on this list, then in the same post mentioning something else. Everyone responded to the latter less-important note, and only one person answered my question.
That question was: Is there a way in RealBASIC to set the ZOrder (that is, the layering of graphical elements on the screen) of an object during runtime? This seems like a very important thing to do, is it not there? If not, does this cause anyone problems? Right now, it's almost a app-breaker for me. In Visual Basic this is implemented with a .ZOrder method on an object. This instantly moves the object to the top. It works in runtime, whereas RB's ControlOrder is only designtime. Sorry to ask again, but I would think that RealSoft will not address this immedaitely if it is not possible, and I could use a solution quickly. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * | Garth Hjelte | | Customer Service Representative, President | | Chicken Systems, Inc, Rubber Chicken Software Co. | | 714 5th Street SE | | Willmar, MN 56201 USA | | | | 800-8-PRO-EPS Toll Free Order Line (US Only) | | 320-235-9798 Tech Support, Sampler Questions | | International Line | | 360-838-7689 Fax | | Product Sales: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | Product Support: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | Sampler Q+A: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | Web Page: www.chickensys.com | * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
