Actually is should elaborate on what I wrote - since actually I was just
repeating your position -

I should have stated that I don't see why - once they have carried out their
"internal plumbing" that they couldn't expose some of the Cocoa specific
framework that is outside of the standard Xplatform framework.  There are
already GUI options and API features particular to each platform. As long as
an attempt is still made to keep as much of the RB framework in common on
the long term, I don't object to - say OSX developers having access to the
same power as Xcode developers get through Interface builder etc..
