Well, I think that it would be safe to assume that you have not tried 
it.  I have and it is a terrible mess.  The problem is the way REALbasic 
handles events, including redraw and resize events of the window and 
controls.  It's slow and problematic.

The only way that I can think of would be to create a completely custom 
window using declares/callbacks (possibly from a plugin) and then draw 
your own user interface completely (like how iTunes does).

I'm actually working on a plugin (in my spare time) that would do this. 
  I am not familiar with all the Windows calls.  If someone would help 
me get all the windows and linux calls for this, I might be able to 
package it up as a cross-platform plugin.
