Tom What happens if you move the "hidden" columns past your defined columns instead of intermixed within the defined columns? For example, set the number of columns to the number of columns that you actually want visible (for example - 6 - all 6 of these columns can be manipulated by the resizing). Then, for your hidden data, simply apply the data to columns 6+ (7th column). This is what I use and it's always seemed to work in my tools.
