I agree it's a very dangerous bug, but we need to figure out what 
really caused it so we can reliably avoid it and so that RS can fit 
it.

I sometimes have the built app running when rebuilding and I get a 
nice 104 error. I've never had the project folder blown away. I've 
got a lot of stuff in there and I'd hate to loose it and have to pull 
out a backup. So I'm very interested in nailing down the specific 
cause so we can all avoid it. :-)
