I have a custom canvas with hot spots that I can shift-click. When I shift click, I enable the TAG properties of a few menu items so I can enable certain actions via key-commands. I notice that when I alternately shift click, the TAGS are being set, but the menu- enabling event of the canvas isn't firing. The menu enabling event will fire if I slightly nudge the mouse. Any comments, thoughts? How can I guarantee that I can enable the menu items?
