Your argument has some bugs in it:

1. It's a bit of a false dichotomy assuming that a basic syntax RAD
development tool can't be marketed to both.

2. Equating low quality tools with hobbyists is ridiculous.  Those that
don't code for a living will frustrate more easily when things fall apart
because it's often difficult to discern if the problem is with the machine
or the machinist.
