I thought of, and implemented that, years ago. I issued license  
"images" that worked wonders. Easy for the user to register, just  
drag and drop, and difficult to crack as well. No text key was ever  
used, the image simply contained the user's name. Changing that was  
trivial, but made no difference because my algorithm never used it.  
The data was hidden in the pixels, which I never saw cracked.

Not to say it's not impossible, but it stood up very well.

And yes, I did it using REALbasic.
