Hi Luis,
I was just looking at it - very cool :)
Oddly enough I've actually had a picture of some contraption in my head of
something similar to that, but was always too lazy to actually attempt to
make it (and it wouldn't have turned out nearly that well). Very cool!

How's it working for you? Is the keyboard still relatively easy to type with
at that angle? I'd love to hear more about it and how it's working. I think
it's great that you put it together.

Good idea with the power supply/heating pad...LOL I'll have to try that.

I posted earlier about buying an Aeron a little while back, and being pretty
unhappy with it. It might look neat, but it just doesn't fit my body type at
all, it's very stiff feeling and the seat "grill" is actually pretty rough
and almost causes a rash if I'm wearing shorts.

I've definitely learned my lesson to not trust reviews or recommendations
alone - you just have to try them yourself.

BTW: If anyone knows of a store in the Los Angeles area that carries all of
the major "big" brands of better chairs (HumanScale, Steelcase, ?), please
let me know - I'd love to go check them out all in one place. There's a
store called "Design Within Reach" (http://dwr.com) that appears to carry
maybe at least a few of the better chairs if anyone interested. I haven't
made it there yet, but I'll let you know how it is when I finally get there
someday.

I've gone through many of the Office Depot type chairs for around $100. They
were ok for a while, but my back/neck/leg pains have just gotten worse and
worse, so I'm really in need of something else, something hopefully more
specific to my condition. I could care less about the
looks/form/design/colors/etc/etc... Part of the chair. I just want it to be
so incredibly comfortable that I could sit in it for 20 hours straight
without having the feeling of death encroaching :)

I would REALLY, REALLY suggest that anyone on here using the computer more
than a few hours a day (most likely all of us) go out a get a really nice
chair if you can afford it. It's amazing, the amount of work you'll get done
when you can sit comfortably.

Anyways - when anyone who was posting before about getting a new chair
actually decides and buys one - please let us know what you got, and how it
feels over the next couple weeks. I'll be sure to do the same. I think at
this point, I'm leaning towards the Humanscale or Steelcase (Still haven't
found a local dealer yet...annoying)

Chad
