Hi all,

the problem is not on how REALbasic 2007r2 is, but how some new features does
not works on this release and how some older features still not works with this
feature.

a. how some new features does not works on this release: have a look at .RTFData
[if you do not saw any bug there, read this list and / or drop me a note and
I explain]

b. how some older features still not works with this feature: have a look at
the Language Reference (embedded) on Novell Open Suse Linux 10.2.
[if you do not saw any bug there, ask me and I will send you a screen shot]

ALSO: this kind of things are still hot after so many years.
I try to restate it: when a new feature was added onto REALbasic 1.0, if the
implementation was only 75% from complete, I was cool and comprehensive: there
was only one programmer after all; also, the product was young.

Now, after nearly 10 years, this is an habit. A bad habit IMHO. An
insupportable habit.

At this stage in time, I am asking myself why I spend my money a product that
always have something wrong (I always discover something wrong). Remember, I
use it on all three platforms: Linux, Mac OS X and Windows.

I just receive a message asking me to reniew my... Windows plan (Standard) that
says gently that I can have more than one plan to renew. The idea was good and
I appreciate it, but it came at a bad time. I am not subjet to a platform war,
but why do they forget that I am a REALbasic 1 licensee ? (it was single
platform then: Macintosh). Also, this is a Professionnal licence on Macintosh
(vs standard on Windows)... Is there some hidden message ?

Have a nice week,

Emile
