Hi,
Is it possible to modify the integrated smtp class or do I need to
create my own.
The problem with the current smtp class is that it sends mails with a
plain text body and attachments that aren't understood by other Mail
programs (Mail does though ;-) ). The problem is that some mail programs
do not show the body, at least one puts the body and attachment in the
body part.
If the mail has plain text and html parts and attachment then all is
fine with everybody (forcing a 2 part mail body is not an acceptable
solution) as it creates a multipart alternative and "labels" the body parts.
<extract>

Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="p09pih2l4j73"
Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
X-me-spamlevel: not-spam
X-me-spamrating: 47.980271

--p09pih2l4j73
Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="5zzgcyd1ulda"

--5zzgcyd1ulda
Content-type: text/plain;
Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit

</extract>

with just a plain text body and attachment the "headers" need changing

<extract>
Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="48rz9w6r9wfe"
Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
X-me-spamlevel: not-spam
X-me-spamrating: 44.636095

--48rz9w6r9wfe
Content-type: multipart/mixed; boundary="f8xvpdszyvoe"
Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit

text here

</extract>

thanks

Fred
