I totally agree. There is much that goes on behind the scenes when loading a movie. Initializing video, finding codec, and so much more that the only way is to buffer the movies in to the player.
In this case where you dont have that type of control over the player, it is best to use two or three players and use them to preload all the movies you want in to them. This can be very resource costly tho.
