Tentatively, and at the risk of receiving harsh words in reply, perhaps I will comment. I mostly lurk on the list and pretty much never post. I am not really a professional programmer; however, I am a professional, and I can recognize when someone is not behaving like one.
Brendan, you are trying to sell your software product, no? Yet, from the very beginning of this thread (excluding your original announcement), your tone has been arrogant, angry, and combative. It has now escalating to just plain childish. I would recommend "taking a chill pill" yourself, and reigning yourself in a bit. Maybe think overnight before posting...or have somebody more discerning proofread for you. I can't speak for sure for other potential customers, but I personally wouldn't run to purchase from someone who lacks humility, refuses to compromise, and, frankly, I am afraid to talk to....
