However, if you don't want to do that, at least for now, you could simply create the folders and links from within your program, or a self made installer program. To "install" for all users, assuming Windows 2000 or XP, the path is, typically, C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs and you could just create a folder for you application there and then create a shortcut to the application within that folder. To do that for just a single user substitute the profile name for All Users. It may not highlight as "newly installed", but that's annoying anyway. Also, I'm sure there's a metaname for that folder, and maybe even in the special folders stuff inside RB, but I'm sure you can hash that out.
