Maybe I'm missing something, or I can't find it in the documentation. It would be nice if there was a "special string" that could be used in the ShortVersion and LongVersion fields to "automagically" take the current version number information and substitute the string, e.g. with Major=1, Minor=2, Bug=3, Stage=1, and NonRelease=4, "&MacVersStr" would become "1.2.3a4" or "&WinVersStr" would become 1.2.3.1.4, or with Major=1, Minor=2, Bug=3, Stage=3, and NonRelease=4, "&MacVersStr" would become "1.2.3" or "&WinVersStr" would become 1.2.3.4; and &VersStr would do whatever would be appropriate for the target platform, so "1.2.3a4" for the Mac build and "1.2.3.1.4" for the Windows build.
Am I missing something somewhere, is it not documented, or do I need to submit a feature request? -- Glenn L.
