Hi all,
REALbasic 2007r2 std for Windows Windows XP SPII I built a project to check GetOpenFolder / GetSaveFolder and their Dialog counterparts, and used it to make a previous report about the dialog contents display. I was curious to see what happens under Mac OS X (using REALbasic 2007r2 Pro / Mac OS X 10.4.9). What a surprise: The six functions opens three different folders (two same folders by instructions): GetOpenFolderItem and OpenDialog; SelectFolder and SelectFolderDialog; GetSaveFolderItem and SaveAsDialog. Note that the two Save Functions dialogs are not centered like the others: they appears on the top/left of the screen (below the MenuBar, at the leftmost of the screen). Did you tell strange ? Yes, indeed, it is "strange" to my eyes. I have to think and learn that and add in my code for SaveAsDialog a part who will center the dialog window for Mac OS X only. [that is the "It's not a bug" syndrom...] BTW: How can I center the SaveAsDialog if I do not know its width and height ? FWIW, Emile _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
