G'day Folks I'm trying to build a quick & dirty database, my 1st attempt with the SQLlite based REAL SQL Database (& using RB 2005). I need to make a one time data entry of a whopping 38 records that I currently have as Excel & tabbed text files. Most of the fields are integers & doubles with 3 string fields & a few booleans (which are "t" & "f" in my data files). I'd like to simply loop through the lines of text files punching each line into a record using SQLExecute( "INSERT ..." ) but (with my SQL experience being little more than stuff all) don't know how to format the data to make that work.
Any suggestions? (on any aspect of getting my data in) Once this small data set is in it's all read-only.
