Hi all,

this is only an experience sharing about an application:

I download it, pass it to the PowerBook (not connected to the internet;

The application calls home and report to me that "I cannot check if an
update is available"...
The application crashed silently when I tried to print the front window.
Drag and Drop works only on the Application icon, not in the front
window (rejected or ignored, I don't remember).

Nota: the application name is not important; however, it display - on
the Mac - the Windows .chm files. It was not updated since 2004, does
not allows to export the opened .chm.

In fact, I was asking myself about the use of that application: if it
does not allows me to do more on the Mac OS X side than what I am able
to do on my PC, it is useless for me.

Also, as is, it is totally useless; also, there is tons of PC
applications that allows the conversion (to pde, to html, to whatever).

BTW: it used a piece of software Kevin Ballard done some years ago.
(Kevin, are you still here ?)

So, OK to discuss about companies that sell plugins, all kind of
software, but first of all, the software have to... work fine...

The software name is not important, what is important is if the software
works, what it looks like, and if its feature set is complete. In that
case, it is not.

Cheers,

Emile
